March 1st Full Moon

Today, March 1, 2018, is the “Worm Moon,” the last full moon before spring equinox, marking the end of winter and the beginning of spring. This is the time of year when the earthworms begin to emerge, rooting through the soil, loosening the earth for new growth.

God stir the soil,
Run the ploughshare deep,
Cut the furrows round and round,
Overturn the hard, dry ground,
Spare no strength nor toil,
Even though I weep.
In the loose, fresh mangled earth
Sow new seed.
Free of withered vine and weed
Bring fair flowers to birth.

Animal Communication

I’ve been practicing with some animal communication sessions. I’ve had success in helping to locate two lost dogs, and had some good sessions with horses and dogs, tapping into information about what is happening with them currently, and what they each felt would be helpful and beneficial to them.

In a session I did very recently with a geriatric dog, the big questions her human Mom had was, “Are you in pain?” and “How can I best support you right now?”  Continue reading “Animal Communication”

Hug O’ War

I will not play at tug o’ war.
I’d rather play at hug o’ war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

Clarity, Balance and Connection

Consider the chakra system of the human body. The Sanskrit word “Chakra” translates to “wheel” and is a spinning energetic center of the body. We have seven main chakras. The lower chakras, the root (1st-physical), the sacral (2nd-emotional) and solar plexus (3rd-mental) are aligned to support the heart chakra (4th). The heart is the conjunction within the body between the physical and the spiritual realms. The upper chakras, 5th (throat), 6th (third eye, the forehead) and 7th (the crown, which opens to Spirit) align to connect with the sacred, beyond our physical bodies. When we pray, Continue reading “Clarity, Balance and Connection”

Listen to the MUSTN’Ts

Listen to the MUSTN’Ts, child,
Listen to the DON’Ts
Listen to the SHOULDN’Ts
The IMPOSSIBLEs and WON’Ts
Listen to the NEVER HAVEs
Then listen close to me …
Anything can happen child,
ANYTHING can be.

Signs

I was working with a client in a session some months ago, and her Mother came through during the reading. When my client asked me if her Mother could share something significant to confirm that this was “real,” I saw an image of turtles, sunning themselves in a pond. During the session, this didn’t resonate for my client, and I did not get additional clarifying information for it to make sense to me. But the next day my client contacted me exploding with excitement. Continue reading “Signs”

Watering the Tiny Seed

How shall the mighty river
reach the tiny seed?
See it rise silently
to the sun’s yearning;
sail from a winter’s cloud
flake after silent flake
piling up layer upon layer
until the thaw of spring
to meet the seedling’s need.

Make tender, Lord, my heart:
release through gentleness
Thine own tremendous power
hid in the snowflake’s art.

Super Blue Blood Moon January 31, 2018

You may have heard or read about a very rare celestial event that will happen with the full moon on Wednesday evening. This isn’t a typical full moon … this event will be a full moon, a blue moon (the second full moon within a calendar month), a super moon (when the moon is closest to the Earth in its elliptical rotation) as well as what is called a “blood moon” which happens during a lunar eclipse with the Earth’s shadow causing the moon to have a reddish tone in color.

If you are interested in astrology, this is also a spectacular event in that there are six planets aligning within Capricorn (listen to Tasha Silver’s recording for more details).

If you feel energy building for this special event, you are not imagining it. It is very real. Continue reading “Super Blue Blood Moon January 31, 2018”
